Welcome to Jayshree Savani
Jayshree Savani
- born on 14th November, Mumbai, in a family of academic professionals, Despite of no formal training in fine arts in the formative years , my passion for art & penchant for learning made me seek and delve deeper into the realm of arts, on my own as well as from various eminent art professors.
I strongly believe that Maa Saraswati - the Bestower of Divine Arts, reigns supreme & blesses only those who awakens her powers by Ananya Sadhna. Also every form of art is interconnected which inspired me to experience and pursue various other forms of performing art like dance and drama, thus enriching my knowledge in a holistic way. |

Although I love all forms of paintings, but Abstraction appeals me the most. It is the FORMLESSNESS of an abstract that appeals me the most thereby providing myriad possibilities to explore its meaning. FORM IS EMPTINESS, EMPTINESS IS FORM. Seung Salm (Zen Master). In emptiness alone, emerges the Reality. The reality of my involvement in 'The PRESENT MOMENT', free from any thought or memory conditioning. Only the pure present moment existing in which i m just a 'means' for a formless abstract to miraculously manifest itself. COMPLETELY 'BE' EVERY MOMENT CHARLOTTE JOKO BECK. It is in this 'Beingness', I enjoy its mysteries. I capture this 'being each moment', through a fascinating interface between my tools and my medium (which is acrylics on paper and canvas), wherein the medium simply mediates through colors without the latter being suggestive of any referential reality. These bold confrontations and encounters with my tools succeed in leaving behind an impression of myself, living metaphorically in it. When I brush on layers and layers of paint, I build a rapport between the formless experiences of my meditative landscapes to subtle glances of intricate forms nudging its way through the vast expanses of formless ambiguity. My compositions lead the viewer through an enlivening journey from the chaotically pure befuddlement to the apparently gentle whispers of knowledge which eventually transcends into strong intellectual communion compelling him to respond.
